Can I see example pages from the Series?

Yes! Certain Shakespeare Made Easy titles such as The Merchant of Venice have the amazon.com ‘Look inside’ feature. Or you can see a few pages here (in pdf – requires free Adobe Reader).

Bear in mind that the books have Shakespeare’s original text opposite the modern English translation side by side on facing pages whereas the pdf examples show only single pages.

With the original on the left, and the modern English Shakespeare translation on the right, you can use the books in a way that suits you. Follow the original, just glancing to the translation when you need to. Or read the play straight through in modern English first, just to get to know the story and characters.
